In 2017, positions on the Labour National Constitutional Committee (NCC) and the Labour Conference Arrangement Committee (CAC) are up for election. Constituency Labour Parties (CLPs) may make nominations for candidates.
The Hove & Portslade CLP Executive Committee (EC) has agreed that we will be making nominations at the General Committee (GC) meeting on June 29.
Who will be able to vote in the nominations?
GC delegates only will be allowed to vote.
WHO WILL BE ALLOWED TO VOTE IN THE ELECTIONS FOR THESE POSITIONS?
- Conference Arrangements Committee: All members will be sent ballot papers to vote on a One Member One Vote (OMOV) basis for two positions on the CAC
- National Constitutional Committee: Delegates at Labour Party Conference will vote for the representatives on the NCC
