Labour Party activists took to the streets in Hove & Portslade this Saturday to talk to residents about the Labour alternative to Tory austerity after the Spring Budget. It is clear from Philip Hammond’s budget that whilst austerity has failed on it’s own terms, the Tories have no plan B. There will be no relief for those most impacted by the slash and burn agenda of Theresa¬†May’s government.

Residents warmed to policies which promise to invest in healthcare, education and housing, and heard how Labour will invest in infrastructure to boost the economy and create jobs.
